Aquatic Rules

Aquatic Rules & Regulations
  • Management reserves the right to alter rules and regulations, hours of operation and procedures at any time.
  • Parents of non-swimmers MUST accompany their children at all times. Flotation devices do not substitute for parent supervision in the water.
  • Only American Red Cross or Coast Guard approved bubbles or life jackets are permitted; no water wings or inflatable devices allowed.
  • Lifeguards are not babysitters, please watch your children.
  • State law requires all person to take a cleansing shower before entering the pool.
  • Anyone having a communicable or infectious disease, open wound or Planter's wart is prohibited from using the pool.
  • Changing clothes, diapers, etc. on the pool deck is not permitted.
  • Non-toilet trained swimmers must wear swim diapers and rubber pants.
  • Proper bathing suit attire is required.
  • No Alcohol on the pool deck.
  • No glass allowed, only plastic water bottles.
  • No chewing gum in the pool.
  • No band aids allowed in the pool.
  • No running on the pool deck.
  • There is no diving allowed into the pool.
  • Feet first jumping is allowed.
  • No flips, twists, turns or back dives allowed.
  • Playing on the ladders is not permitted.
  • Do not hang on or swim over the lane line or rope.
  • No kick boards, barbells, fins or aqua belts, noodles or squirt guns.
  • No jumping into the wading pool.
  • Keep all food a minimum of 6 feet from the edge of the pool.
  • Sitting or standing on shoulders is not permitted.
  • Rough housing of any kind is not permitted (excessive noise, chicken fights, dunking, throwing people, jumping on heads, necks or backs, splashing or pushing).
  • No food deliveries (includes pizza).
  • Tennis balls are not permitted (pool squoosh and beach balls only). All balls may be removed at the discretion of the lifeguards if the pool is crowded.
  • Any action or activity that the lifeguard feels is a potential danger will be stopped immediately.  The staff has the right to suspend anyone from the pool if unsafe behavior continues.
